KG sports Teenage sensation, Osamor Raphael is looking forward to be the next Ronaldo, the 15 year old star who inspired his KG sports Academy U-17 Side to the Quarter finals of the AFCADU U-17 Championship in Agbor stated that his idol is Cristiano Ronaldo and so he want to be the next Ronaldo.
Samuel who is fondly called “Small Ronaldo’ has a pennant for scoring goals, he has scored in 6 consecutive matches for the Pride of Agbor in all competition in the last one month and his goal against Winners FC on Monday takes his tally to 10 goals in 12 games for KG sports Academy since he join the academy in June 2023.
“I like Christiano Ronaldo, and I watch him all the time to learn from him” he said. “I hope one day i can rise to become like him too” he added.
Talking about the ongoing tournament where he opened his accounts, the prolific scorer said he is not eyeing the top Scorer but want his team to win the championship and if his goals will do that then so be it.
“I am not really after the top scorer, i want my team to win and that is more important, if my goals will make us win then i will be happy” he said.
Osamor Samuel Rafael is among the 14 players selected at the LAST TEAM Standing Tournament to represent Delta State in the Reality Football Show in September.
