Rivers United player, Godwin Aguda has expressed his delight and happiness towards his current impressive form so far for Rivers United.
Rivers United defeated Bloemfontein Celtic 2-0 away from home with Godwin Aguda on target for Stanley Eguma’s side, as they (Rivers United) take a step closer to the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Godwin Aguda who joined Rivers United back in September after leaving Al-Washm his former club has been a shining light for the Port Harcourt-based club side in their Successful campaign on the continent.
The former Enugu Rangers attacker has now scored in three consecutive games for Stanley Eguma’s side, including the 2-0 away win over Bloemfontein Celtic in South Africa.
In a chat with Sports 247, Godwin Aguda expressed his happiness towards his impressive form so far in helping his team in the continent, as he hopes to continue that impressive goal scoring form in subsequent matches to come.
“I am glad to score the third goal in the third match for the club. I went into the game with that in mind and fortunately, it happened. I am happy with how things are going at the moment, I can’t even explain the feeling, scoring and helping the team is a massive thing of joy and I want to continue,” he said.
Godwin Aguda will be hoping to continue his impressive goal-scoring form when his side, Rivers United take on his former Employers Enugu Rangers on Sunday in the new campaign of the 2020/2021 NPFL season.
