The David Okereke scouting tournament keeps on unmasking amazing talents in Nigeria’s grassroot and one of them is the left back of Team 360, Olusegun Feranmi.
The left back who model’s his football around the Real Madrid superstar, Marcelo, says he hoped to make his debut for the senior men’s football team of Nigeria in five years time.
“Football is a game a lot of us love and I gain inspiration from the professional player, Marcelo,” Feranmi told Sports247.
“I wish to help my country in every way in football. With the way I play, I should be in a professional team in five years and have made my debut for the Super Eagles,” he added.
The lad also waded in on the quality of teams playing in the scouting tournament as he termed them as ‘quality’ and ‘strong’.
“The program is good and filled with quality opponents who are very strong and not just substandard teams,” Feranmi said.
