“I Don’t Want To Go Back Home” Gold winner Favour Adaotoyo Relishes Unforgettable Asaba 2024 Moments

Favour Adaotoyo, a member of the Delta State Gold medal winning team has expressed her reluctance to return home due to the unforgettable moments she experienced at just concluded 2024 Asaba games, Sports247 reports.

Favour Adaotoyo helped Team Delta to the girls handball gold medal, defeating Team Sokoto State in the final, after conquering strong opponents like Ogun , Lagos , Edo and Plateau State before the final games.

In an exclusive chat with www.sports247.ng in Asaba on Thursday 19 September 2024 after the events, the soft spoken handball youngster expressed her love for the people of Asaba and revealed she doesn’t want the games to end for it has afforded her the opportunity to make many friends.

“I don’t want to go back home,.the place is nice and very friendly and I love the state. I make new friends from Lagos , Edo , and Plateau State”.

Favour who is attending the National Youth Games for the first time says she is happy because the team were able to achieve their goal of winning the gold medal and will love to train harder and more frequently to be able to keep winning in future games .

” I am very happy because we promised our coach never to let him down and we are able to keep our promise”.

” I would love to train harder and frequently and love to play more competition so that I can win more gold medals” said Favour Adaotoyo.
