After his goal against Dino Sc to seal a 1-0 win for his team, Igamu FC in the ongoing exciting Creative Championship league, Ifeanyi Iwala has admitted that if being given the opportunity to represent Nigeria, he would do better than the current players in the Super Eagles team.
The 20-year-old was instrumental for his side as they defeated their opponent, Dino SC 1-0 on Sunday, scoring the only goal of the game.
In an interview with Sports247 when being asked if he sets his eyes on the National Team, the Versatile player admitted that he would do a better job for Nigeria if being given the chance to do so, as well as saying that those currently playing for Gernot Rohr’s side aren’t better than him.
“If I am there (the Super Eagles), it’s not going to be anything new for me, even those that are there are not better than me, It’s just the opportunity, but I think I can get there, he admitted”.
While being asked about where he sees himself in the next 5 years and his Mentor, Ifeanyi said he would like to be in Europe by then and sees the Barcelona Star, Lionel Messi as his Mentor.
“In the next 5 years, I will like to be in Europe and Messi is my Mentor,” he concluded.
Ifeanyi is a complete player whatching him live on Sunday playing against Dino sporting club scoring the only goal that gave his side victory.
