The Flying Eagles of Nigeria continued their preparation for the FIFA U-20 World Cup with another International friendly game with VFR Aalen on Thursday.
The Paul Aigbogun side secured a 3-1 win over VFR Aalen in the pre World Cup game after playing out a 3-3 draw in their first game with SC Freiburg , before losing 2-1 to Saudi Arabia few days back.
Henry Offia, Igho Ogbu and Nnamdi Ofobor scored the goals for the Flying Eagles as they secured a moral booster victory ahead of the tournament in Poland which kick starts on 23rd May .
The team will have further test games against German clubs TSG Hoffenheim and Red Bull Leipzig, as well as Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg, before heading to the Polish city of Tychy where they play Qatar in their opening match of the competition on 24th May.
