In a strategic move to foster growth and development in Odogbolu Local Government, Hon. Dr. Babatunde Oyetola Diya has appointed Deacon Stanley Olunogun as the Secretary to the Local Government.
This appointment reflects the Chairman’s trust in Deacon Olunogun’s expertise and ability to drive meaningful progress in the area.
Deacon Stanley Davies Olunogun brings a wealth of experience and qualifications to the role. He holds certifications from the Institute of Insurance Marketing, Lagos, and the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), obtained in 2007.
Additionally, he has an extensive background in accounting, having practiced for several years before transitioning into political journalism and media consultancy.
A graduate of the Redeemed Bible College in Lagos, Deacon Olunogun has further honed his skills through training at the Encouragement Initiative Academy in Ijebu-Ode.
His impressive portfolio spans over 15 years in politics, during which he has held key positions, including Unit Chairman in Odogbolu since 2016, Head of Media for the Odogbolu Campaign Central Council, and Media Lead for the Chairman during the November 16 elections.
His contributions to grassroots development earned him the prestigious “Ijebu Man of the Year” award for 2020-2021.
