In a bid to empower the youth of Ekiti State, Hon. Ayò Òjó, Technical Advisor to the Executive Governor of Ekiti State on Youth Inclusion, recently held a stakeholders engagement meeting with Chief. Dr. (Mrs) Nike Davies-Okundaye, the founder of Nike Art Gallery Tourism and Tours. The meeting took place on the 31st of March, 2024, at the office of the founder of Nike Arts Gallery.

“The meeting was part of the Youth Engagement, Empowerment, Advocacy, Development, and Enlightenment plan, which are key components of the Ekiti Youth Inclusion Programme,” said Hon. Ayò Òjó. “The purpose of the meeting was to explore opportunities for the youth of Ekiti State through collaboration with Nike Art Gallery.”
The focus of the partnership is to lead to financial independence, human capital development, wealth creation, and increased investment and tourism in Ekiti State. “Youth employment and employability are top priorities for the Administration of Governor Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji, and forming partnerships with established organizations like Nike Art Gallery is seen as a way to facilitate business growth and expand productive networks in Ekiti State,” added Hon. Ayò Òjó.
“The partnership between the Youth Inclusion office and Nike Art Gallery holds great promise for Ekiti State. It is expected to bring about activities and commerce that will contribute to a memorable summer for the region,” he continued.
“Overall, the stakeholders engagement meeting was a success and sets the stage for future collaborations and initiatives aimed at empowering the youth of Ekiti State.
