The President of the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) Mr. Samuel Ocheho has congratulated Coach Yusuf Abdulkadir for bagging IHF B coaching license.
Coach Abdulkadir, who is the coach of Ardova Handball Premier League, Plateau Peacocks and the assistant coach of Nigeria’s Senior Women Handball team, attained the feat after successfully undergoing and eventually passing the prestigious IHF coaching course which was held from the 4th to the 9th of September in Monastir, Tunisia.
Ocheho, in a congratulatory message to Coach Abdulkadir, applauded his zeal for knowledge and excellence which has necessitated him to seek to be on of the continent’s highest bagged coaches.
The fact that Coach Abdulkadir underwent and passed the course amongst other top African handball coaches excited the HFN president who praised him for making Nigeria proud.
“I am happy about the feat that Coach Yusuf Abdulkadir has attained as he successfully underwent the course, competing with other top African coaches and then passed the IHF coaching in Tunisia to bag the IHF B coaching license.
“I particularly applaud his determination and zeal to attain more knowledge in his quest to be one of Africa’s top coaches which in reple effect, will help handball to grow more in Nigeria especially in the league wherein he is a major stakeholder” Ocheho said
Ocheho also encouraged other coaches to also get their IHF A or B bagged coaching license as Handball moves towards becoming a bigger sport globally while promising that the Handball Federation of Nigeria will continue to support them.
Meanwhile, Coach Abdulkadir, who spoke to HFN Media from Monastir, Tunisia, thanked the Handball Federation of Nigeria led by Mr. Samuel Ocheho for the support while also promising to continue to give back to the Nigeria Handball family especially in the grassroot.
