Henwan promises support for Maikaba

General Manager of Plateau United, Pius Henwan says the management of the team will give the newly unveiled coach, Abdul Isa Maikaba all the necessary support to enable him succeed.

Henwan who stated this through the media officer of the club, Albert Dakup noted that having finally gotten Maikaba after firece battle from other teams, the management of the club will do their own part to enable him discharge his duties creditably well.

He explained that the management of the team under his leadership which accord topmost priority to players and coaches welfare will not relent its efforts stressing that success can only be attained when everybody play his role as a team.

The General Manager said the newly contracted coach will be given the freehand to operate especially in the area of hiring and firing of players stressing that management will not impose players on the coach.

While thanking the Rescue Administration of Governor Simon Lalong for his unfliching support to the team, Henwan assured that everything will be done to ensure that Maikaba’s stay in Jos is a memorable one.

He solicited the cooperation and support of the club teeming fans and major stakeholder in the state noting that the coach can only succeed when everybody contribute his quota.
