The technical Adviser of Heartland football club Owerri Mr Fidelis Illechukwu has been commended for his resilience and commitment to ensure the team covers lost grounds in the face of obvious late commencement of the season’s proceedings.
The General Manager of the club Chief Chukwudi Ifeanyi gave the commendation after watching the team’s training and gradual preparations in getting ready for the season’s proceedings.
He said the spirit and vigor coach Illechukwu has exhibited shows he is committed to duties and urges him to sustain the tempo.
Chief Ifeanyi also applauded the players for their renewed commitment and assured them of a better welfare package if they continue with the same spirit.
Coach Illechukwu had earlier told the General Manager that he is aware that the team is commencing proceedings behind time but optimistic that with God on their side they would put up genuine effort to be fully prepared before the D-day.
The players of the Naze Millionaires are gradually returning to town in compliance with the Coach’s directive that those still with the club should return for the commencement of preparations for the 2020/2021 New league season.
