Heartland Queens Football Club of Owerri will wrap up the preseason tour with the Betsy Obaseki football tournament in Benin.

The Owerri Landladies have been on preseason tour in preparation for the 2023/2024 NWFL season and Benin City in Edo state will be the last port of call.
Heartland Queens will take on familiar NWFL rivals Royal Queens in the opening fixture today at the University of Benin sports center and will subsequently battle Fortress Queens and FC Robo Queens in group C.
Heartland Queens defeated Royal Queens twice last season in both the home and away fixtures and will look to consolidate that victory at this preseason tourney.
Royal Queens has also been paired in the same NWFL group A alongside Heartland Queens.
Both teams will also lock horns in the opening fixtures at the Dan Anyway Stadium in Owerri.
This meeting will be a test run of what is to come when the NWFL kicks off properly.
The match will be streamed live on Heartland Queen’s Facebook page by 4 pm today for all Heartland Queens fans.
