Heartland Queens football club of Owerri outclassed Awka Angels of Anambra 3-0 in the semi finals of the South East women tournament on Wednesday the 9th of August to set up the final clash against Imo Strikers Queen on Thursday the 10th of August.
Lucky Mary Netted the curtain raiser 12th minutes into the game to give Heartland Queens the lead.
Most valuable player of the game Chimebere Opara increased the tally with the second goal in the 44th minutes of play.
Chimebere Opara again extended the lead in the regulation time with her brace to put Onwa babes out of reach of the Anambra side.
At the sound of the final whistle Heartland Queens cruised into the final clash with a convincing 3-0 win over Awka Angels.
With the win Heartland Queens will now gear up for the final action when they lock horns with Imo strikers Queen in what we can define as an epic Imo derby final clash on Thursday noon.
Imo strikers Queens thrashed First Mahi Babes of Nwangele 5-0 to set up the final battle.
Thursday noon time will determine who is the real Queen of football in Imo state.
