The Prudent Energy Handball Premier League phase one was rounded off earlier this month with a view of kick-starting the second and the concluding phase in October 2022.

In a bid to keep fit and commemorate with the Prudent Group Health Day, president of the Handball Federation of Nigeria, Mr, Samuel Ocheho on Saturday, joined the management and staff of the league sponsor led by group Chairman, Alhaji Abdulwasiu Sowami for the health walk tagged walkitout .
The walk which took place on the Saturday 18th June saw two locations for the walk, one which was started from the Ikeja office down to the Police College, Ikeja. Another walk took place in location B, Oghara Terminal down to Oghara Township Stadium. According to the Media Officer of the Handball Federation, “it’s to galvanize the relationship between the two partners and an anticipation to the phase two Prudent Energy Handball Premier League taking place in Lagos in October.”
The Handball Premier League, unlike the conventional style other sports adopt, is divided into two phases. The first phase took place in the Moshud Abiola Stadium, Abuja. While the second phase will be held in Lagos but exact venue is still unknown.
