“Honestly, I would let the ministries decide for themselves. This is a ministry’s program, the submissions, we’ll hand over the teams to the ministry to take to the tournament.
So I would rather they speak for themselves.But if you ask me for a major competition like this, I think we can do better.” Ocheho stated in a recent interview.
Ocheho emphasized that while the Handball Federation of Nigeria is actively preparing its players for the African Games, the ultimate coordination and direction for the tournament lie with the ministry.
He expressed confidence in the federation’s ability to ready its athletes but stressed the importance of a cohesive strategy under the ministry’s leadership.
