The Chairman of Lagos State Football Association, Hajji Gafar Liameed has hailed Lagos based NPFL side Ikorodu City on its newly found impressive form that has seen the Oga Boys, winning two games and with a draw in its last 3 matches.
Gafar, speaking on the back on Ikorodu City latest 4-2 defeat of Lobi Stars in the week 8 of the NPFL season, praised the resilience and determination of the team to prove its mettle as a good team in the league.
“I congratulate Ikorodu City for coming up with impressive results in their last 3 matches, so far”, Gafar said.
The Lagos FA boss went ahead to encourage the players, officials and management of the team to keep the newly found zeal and fervour, going forward into the upcoming matches in the league.
He reassured the Ikorodu City and other Lagos based clubsides participating in various cadres of the Nigerian football league of the continuous support of the LSFA, in their bids for honours.
