Haggai Sports Nigeria Limited, a Lagos-based indigenous sports manufacturing and marketing company, has emerged the kits and equipment sponsor, of the 2020/2021 NWFL Nationwide League.
According to the NWFL Chief Operating Officer, Modupe Shabi, Haggai Sports was given the part sponsorship right after the endorsement by the board of the NWFL headed by Aisha Falode.
Shabi, noted that, the Haggai Sports sponsorship which is in form of partnership with the NWFL, would see the sports manufacturers provide the official balls ; the Haggai Zebra, for all the matches that would be played at the Abuja centre, the Aguiyi Ironsi sports complex and the Ijebu-Ode centre, the Dipo Dina International Stadium. Haggai Sports will also provide a full kits for the ball boys at the two venues, as well as officials sports wears for the NWFL officials on duty at the NWFL Nationwide venues.”
The NWFL Chief Operating Officer, noted that, Haggai Sports will also be providing the Haggai Zebra balls the official ball for all games, ball boys’ kits and official kits for staff and officials of the NWFL, for the NWFL Premiership Super Six slated for the Dipo Dina International Stadium Ijebu-Ode from April 19 to 25, 2021.”
Shabi, stressed that, the NWFL is happy to have an indigenous sports manufacturing company like Haggai Sports, partner with the NWFL. This will help the further development of Nigerian women’s football league.
The Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Haggai Sports, Mr. Paul Maduakor, said Monday, that, the partnership with the NWFL is a good one for Haggai Sports.
“We are delighted to be a part sponsor of the NWFL Nationwide and the Premiership. We are not strangers to clubs in the women’s league, as we are the kits sponsors and providers for some of the Premiership clubs. We are willing to do more as our partnership matures with the NWFL. We shall be most delightef to be a partner in progress with the NWFL as the women’s league develop further in Nigeria.”
