Chief Executive Officer Haggai Sportswear, Paul Maduakor has commended the effort of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwoolu with all the preventive measures being taken to stop the spread of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) within the State.
“Gov. Sanwo-Olu had shown leadership in the implementation of the response strategy to manage confirmed cases of coronavirus infection and tracing of suspected cases, even beyond the borders of the State”, he affirms.
Paul spoke to sports247.ng after an emergency meeting with the staff of Zenith Sports and Haggai Sportswears, where he asked them all to stay back at home and announced the temporary shutting down of operations.
” In view of the escalating cases of COVID-19 pandemic in the country and world at large, we are shutting down operations from today, 26th of March – 2nd April, 2020 in accordance with Lagos State Government.
This is because we are deeply concerned about the safety of our clients and staff, we urge you all to please, stay safe and maintain social distancing”, he added.
The sports manufacturer guru urged members of the public to heed the directives issued by the Government and tasked them to maintain personal hygiene in order to protect their fellow patriots.
