The president of Nigeria Gymnastics Association (NGA), Prince Kelvin Erhuwunsie has stated eight with the vast array of talents the country has been able to churn out in the sport over the recent past months.
Erhuwunsie said the giant strides Nigeria is making in the sport are due to his good leadership style.
He disclosed in an interview with sports247.ng that the federation has made bold moves to develop gymnastics since he was elected as the body’s president.
Erhuwunsie declared: “Nigerians can now witness that the country has a lot of talented gymnasts.
“Never in the history of the gymnastics federation have such talents been regularly exposed to various competitions for Nigerians to see.
“We are also happy that gymnastic was part of the sports that won some medals for the country during the Africa Youth Games in Algiers earlier this year.
“For the first time, gymnastics also featured at the Youth Festival in Ilorin Kwara State last month.”
