The event, scheduled for Monday, February 11, at the Abuja Continental Hotel (Wazobia Hall), will also have Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), as the special guest of honor. Additionally, the Ambassador of Hungary to Nigeria, His Excellency László Szabó, will be in attendance.

Organized by Hungary-based V Agency, the workshop aims to advance football scouting by leveraging modern technology. In an invitation letter to Elegbeleye, V Agency’s CEO, Alexandra Végh, emphasized the event’s goal of strengthening football-education integration in Nigeria, with a strong focus on scouting innovations.

“We aim to showcase the transformative role of technology in scouting, including advanced scouting software, video editing techniques, AI applications, and analytics courses,” Végh stated.

The workshop will explore how these tools—combined with the assessment of players’ physical attributes—can redefine the professional scouting process. It will also highlight V Agency’s contributions to sports and education partnerships in Nigeria while fostering collaboration among key stakeholders, including football clubs, academies, schools, and industry professionals.

Attendees will include representatives from the Nigeria National League (NNL), Nationwide League One (NLO), football academies, and educational institutions. Végh will also present insights into V Agency’s ongoing projects in Nigeria.

The event will serve as a platform for networking among top figures in the football and education sectors, opening doors for further collaboration and growth in the industry.
