An executive committee member of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau has forwarded proper planning by the soccer governing body as the main reason behind the Super Eagles’ home and away victories against Libya.
Gusau said in an interview with sports247.ng that the Eagles’ ability to recover from the disappointment s they faced at the World Cup and get three straight victories so soon after was due to foresight from the NFF.
He revealed that the Eagles’ smooth revival in the AFCON 2019 qualifiers after the World Cup is because of the NFF is committed in seeing that all demands of the players are settled.
Gusau stressed that, in order for the players to give their best, the NFF top brass took it upon themselves to ensure the team never lacked anything.
Gusau added: “I can tell you that the Federation is constantly working and we know fully well what the players need to succeed.
“We know that the players are only expected to do their job and then get the desired results once we fulfill our obligations to the team.”
