Ali admitted that there were doubts about the tournament when it was established few years ago because he couldn’t see a way forward in the project but it’s now obvious that it’s for the good, Sports247.ng writes.
“It’s a great competition. Back then when the tournament was hosted, I didn’t participate because my boys were not properly nurtured then,” Coach Ali explained.
“I will like to appreciate the management of KG Sport Football Academy, the director, Dr. ken Gaddafi for his efforts, experience and attitude towards the growth of these players that we have here,” he lauded.
“He has been trying to bring out something like this in times past but we didn’t understand back then. We were thinking maybe it’s just a waste of time but we now have a new mindset,” Bisson confessed.
“I came to realize through watching the matches last year that KG Sports are the defending champions twice both last year and the previous one and this year again, they are doing well.”
“We are in the same group with them although we lost to them in the first match of the tournament but with the way I’m seeing the boys playing in this competition and the younger ones are giving thier best in terms of the game of football.”
