The stage is now set for the quarter-finals of the maiden Edo state Governors cup football tournament for youth clubs in ikpoba/okha local government area of Edo state.
Bankrolled by the secretary to Edo State Government, Barr Osaradion Ogie, the football event in honour of Edo state sports-loving Governor is organized by the Federation of Youth soccer clubs (Feysoc) Edo state
The eight teams that will begin the quarter-final matches on Wednesday, July 7th, include Shooting Arrow Fc, Dinamo Academica, Royal FC, Eagles stars FC, Star city FC, Young stars, Efe-urhocity Academy, and Aidia sports.
In some of the last group matches decided, on Tuesday Efe urhocity and Star city FC played a goalless draw, why Dinamo Academica defeated Eagles stars 4-0.
The semi-finals is scheduled for Thursday 8th July 2021 at western boys high school mini stadium in ikpoba/okha local government Area
According to the organizers, a lot awaits the winners during the closing ceremony of the tournament at a later date.
