Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, on Friday, toured the Lafia City Stadium to ascertain the progress of work at the facility.
The Governor who was accompanied to the site by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Muhammad Ubandoma-Aliyu and Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General of the State, Dr. Abubakar Abdulkarim Kana, was received by the Management of Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development headed by the Commissioner, Amb. Lucky Isaac Yargwa.
He urged the contractor, Mr. Mike Adamu, CEO, Reform Sports West Africa, to expedite actions in seeing to the timely completion of works at the stadium to enable the two State’s teams, Nasarawa United FC, and Nasarawa Amazons FC, use it for their home games.
The Contractor assured of delivering the task at the stipulated time.
