Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, on Friday, inspected ongoing installation of artificial turf on the football field of the Lafia City Stadium.
Accompanied by the State Deputy Governor, Dr Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Amb. Lucky Isaac Yargwa, S.A. on Sports Facilities to the Governor, Nathaniel Emmanuel, and Management Officials of the State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, the Governor urged the contractor, Reform Sports West Africa, to speed up the work and complete it within the stipulated time.
He charged the Contractor not to compromise on the quality of the work.
Governor Sule noted that after its completion, the facility would provide the ambience for more sporting activities to take place there.
He extended his gratitude to the Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, and the Ministry for ensuring that the project is given the desired attention.
On his part, Site Supervisor for Reform Sports West Africa, Engr. Ibrahim Bidex, assured the Governor that the remaining portion of the field would be laid with the turf within the shortest possible period to allow the return of sporting activities.
