Lagos State Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has reaffirmed his commitment to a harmonious working relationship with the Lagos State House of Assembly, led by the newly elected Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mojisola Meranda.
This was emphasized during a courtesy visit by the Speaker and her team of principal officers to Lagos House, Ikeja, yesterday.

The meeting, which also included members of the state’s Executive Council, highlighted the importance of synergy between the executive and legislative arms to maintain Lagos as a beacon of good governance.
Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed his enthusiasm for building on past achievements and driving transformational progress across all sectors.
“We are committed to ensuring that Lagos remains a model of excellence in governance,” the governor said. “Through this alignment, we will implement policies and projects that deliver on our Greater Lagos vision, ensuring sustainable development for all residents.”
Speaker Meranda, who recently assumed office, pledged the Assembly’s full cooperation in supporting the administration’s initiatives.
She noted that the collaboration between both arms of government is critical for the continued growth of Lagos.
“Our goal is to work seamlessly with the Executive Council to uphold the trust of Lagosians and deliver impactful legislation that aligns with the vision for a Greater Lagos,” the Speaker said.
