Lagos State governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has received a massive round of verbal applause for his continued support and backing of a monthly keep fit programme.
The latest shower of praise for Sanwo-Olu is coming from his senior special assistant on sports, Mr Damilare Orimoloye, who thanked the governor for approving each laudable initiative that is submitted to his table.
Orimoloye disclosed as much ahead of this month’s keep fit event, which comes up next Saturday, July 27th, at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos Island.
He revealed further that there will also be a spot for free medical checks and leaflets promoting Sanwo-Olu’s T.H.E.M.E.S. Agenda.
Orimoloye stated: “We are keeping it alive in Lagos. We must keep the tradition going, and Lagosians must always be at the alert. They must be fit.
“That is why the governor is always in support of such laudable programmes whenever we bring them to him.
“We are still moving ahead with our plan, and we want to get it across the entire state.
“The movement is on, and we thank Governor Sanwo-Olu for believing in sports, believing in us, and believing in the people of Lagos State.”
He concluded by revealing that the event billed for next Saturday will be staged in conjunction with Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC).
