Governor Bala Muhammed of Bauchi State has promised his continuous support to the State-owned Football Team, Wikki Tourists FC.
The Governor made the pledge at the government house while formally unveiling the Egyptian player Mahmood Saeed Gamal who was recently signed by the Club.
Although the Governor expressed displeasure on the position of the team on the log presently but added that all that needs to be done will be done to ensure the team bounces back and qualify for Continental engagement.
Chairman of the club Balarabe Yusuf Douglas said the player was signed to strengthen the defense of the team.
While thanking the Governor for his support to the team, the Chairman assured him that the club has put in place machinery to ensure improvement in the second round of the league.
Others who spoke at the event were the Technical Adviser of the Team Usman Abd’Allah Shariff and the Manager of the player Mr. Philip Dosu.
