Governor Babajide Sanwoolu on private visit to Badagry

The office of the amiable governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Sanwo-Olu on Sunday 5/1/20 sent delegates to Badagry LG with the aim of taking notes of the key development that are yet to be birthed in the ancient town.

The team led by the secretary to the State Government(Mrs. Folashade Jaji), Hon Dayo Israel(permanent Board member LASUBEB) and SA to Gov on Art and Culture (Hon Solomon Saanu Bonu) announced that the unexpected visit was designed out of the Governor’s goodwill for Badagry and its environs. The communities visited include Gbaji, Gbaji-Yeketome and Apa.

Mrs Folashade Jaji was warmly received by SLG BDG West LCDA(Hon. Gusanu Sovi and SLG BDG LG(Hon. Ajape Kamorudeen).

The team noted among many other things, the absence of some social amenities like standard primary healthcare centres, good roads, schools, good water and public toilets which gave birth to open defecation.

The ‘tour’ through these communities proved one thing right: the State Governor’s readiness to bring about development to every corner of the State.

It’s therefore a good idea to investigate ahead of time and find out about options of democracy dividends that should be brought down to the LG.

A promise was lastly given of the Governor’s commitment in making life easy for the people of Baadagry.
