Gombe United defeated Kwara United 4-2 in the match day 29 of the ongoing Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) played at the Pantami stadium, Gombe, today.

Sama’ila Bello who replaced Yusuf Abdul’azeez in the 79′ made an immediate impact as he launched a sublime crossing for Barnabas Daniel who fired home a bullet header.He then scored three minutes later as his left footed venomous shot went beyond the reach of goalkeeper Ishola.
Substitute Junior Lokosa then forced the game to 4-2 with a minute left inside the added four minutes.
Gombe United who occupied the 8th position on the log with 41points in 39 matches will travel to Ije-Ode,Ogun state next Sunday for their week 30 encounter against MFM Fc who were sanctioned to play four home matches outside Lagos state.
