Nigeria’s Golden Arrows experienced another setback in the Africa Men’s Handball Nations Cup, succumbing to a 36-19 defeat against Tunisia on day 2 of the tournament in Egypt.
Despite efforts from the Rafiu Salami-tutored side, they struggled to match the handball prowess of Tunisia right from the beginning.

The first half concluded with Tunisia leading 18-10, putting Nigeria on the defensive.
In the second half, Tunisia maintained their dominance, scoring almost effortlessly, while Nigeria grappled with turnovers.
The match concluded with Tunisia securing the last goal through a seven-meter penalty, sealing the victory at 36-19.
The Golden Arrows will look to redeem themselves in their final group-stage match against Kenya on Sunday. Kenya faced an earlier defeat against Angola with a scoreline of 48-20.
