The senior men’s handball national team, Golden Arrows, has initiated rigorous training in Abuja in preparation for the upcoming 13th Africa Games scheduled to take place in Ghana in March.
Following their recent triumph at the President’s Cup during the Africa Handball Nations Cup in Egypt, Golden Arrows will be Nigeria’s sole representative in the handball event at the Africa Olympics.

Under the guidance of Coach Solomon Yola, who is temporarily in charge in the absence of head coach Rafiu Salami, twenty-six players have been called up to participate in the intensive camping session ahead of the Continental games.
The invited players include several who showcased their skills at the Africa Men’s Handball Nations Cup in Egypt.
The 13th Africa Games, set to occur from March 8th to 23rd, 2024, will provide an opportunity for Golden Arrows to demonstrate their prowess on the continental stage.
