Gerald Uzoma was the star of the day at the 2025 Evolution Cup Pan African Tournament enters day four on Thursday in Abuja.

Gerald scored three times to help Pro Sports FC secured a convincing 4-0 victory over Ubogu FC.
Gerald Uzoma made history as the first player player to score hattrick as he netted in the 2nd, 15th and capped a great day with a stunning freekick in the 55th minutes, while Okoro Innocent added the fourth goal in the 4th minute.
Gerald Uzoma strolled away with the match ball as well a man of the match award, his his second Man of the Match award of the tournament to keep his place among the break out star of the competition.
In the first game of the day, Bolapro Sporting forced Deportivo Football Academy to a thrilling 1-1 draw.
Beugre Elfried gave the Ivorians the lead in the 28th minute, but Ahene Ebube equalized for Bolapro Sporting in the 47th minute forcing both teams to share the spoils
Green Lock and F8ballers Africa also ended their match with a 1-1 stalemate.
Israel Amodu opened the scoring for Green Lock in the 15th minute, only for Emmanuel Mankinde to level the score for F8ballers in the 30th minute.
Mallam FA stunned King O Football Club with a 2-1 win. Ugwu Chukwuemeka and Captain Sunday Destiny scored for Mallam FA in the 8th and 43rd minutes, respectively as Joel Friday’s 20th-minute strike proved to be a consolation for King O.
In the final match of the day, Deportivo FC edged hard fighting SGFC Athletics 1-0, courtesy of Cisse Aziz’s 59th-minute freekick goal which proved to be the winner.
Still a lot to fight for on the final group matches with Bolapro Sporting, Pro Sports FC and Deportivo FC fighting for the top spot in group A, while Green Lock, La Planet and F8ballers Africa will be looking to pick top spot in Group B to secure a final berth.
