Interim Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, George Finidi, has voiced his apprehension regarding the injury sustained by Super Eagles and Nantes midfielder, Moses Simon.

Simon was forced off the field on a stretcher during Nigeria’s 2-0 defeat to Mali in Morocco.
George Finidi confirmed that the player suffered an ankle injury but emphasized the need for further medical evaluation to determine the severity of the injury.
“I don’t know at the moment; we have to wait and hear from the doctor.
I think it is an ankle injury. We have to see what the doctor will give us on that,” George Finidi stated.
