The interim management committee led by Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye has been applauded by the Nigeria Football Federation over the just concluded successful 2022/2023 NPFL campaign.

The committee which was established for the temporary purpose of overseeing the activities of the 2022/2023 season was able to make notable reformations in terms of welfare, prize money for the league, bringing in sponsors, making sure rules and regulations are followed by participating clubs and also proper treatment of the referees amidst host of other feats.
The NFF board led by Ibrahim Gusau in an executive committee meeting highlighted the good works of the IMC and giving them the nod to continue their good works beyond the current campaign in order to ensure stability and continuity as they bid to transform Nigeria’s football.
The Board unanimously expressed satisfaction and delight with the efforts put into the organization of the just-concluded Nigeria Premier Football League season and the NPFL Playoff Championship by the Interim Management Committee headed by Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye, and declared without mincing words that the Committee has fulfilled its mandate with distinction.
