National League One side, Gbagada FC are full of praise for their on loan striker Edema Peter following an emphatic season with Benin Republic outfit, ASVO Football Club in the just concluded 2021/2022 football season.
Edema Peter joined the Beninise Club on loan prior to the commencement of the 2021/2022 football season, thereby becoming the first player of Gbagada F.C to play outside the shore of Nigeria.
The forward was impressive for the ASVO F.C that finished 5th of out 16 teams in the 2021/2022 Benin Republic Pro League, netting 14 goals and grabbing 2 assists in 24 appearances for the club.
In a Twitter post on Thursday, the founder of Gbagada Football Club, Pep Yelu congratulated Edema for a history-making achievement in the Benin Republic.

Being our first player to play outside the country and doing so solidly representing the #GFC brand. Greater heights await you @edema_9,” the tweet read.
