Former Nigeria international, Garba Lawal has warned that the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Libya should not be taken for granted by experimenting with some players this weekend.
Libya are on top of the Group E log with four points from two games while Nigeria have three from the same number of matches.
In a chat with Sports247.ng, the former Roda utility player noted that coach Gernot Rohr should field his best possible line ups like he will do in a tournament.
“This is a make or break game. I don’t expect the Gernot Rohr led technical crew to gamble by experimenting,” Garba told Sports247.ng.
“The game on Saturday isn’t a friendly and should he taken with all seriousness it deserves. Libya aren’t pushovers. They will be out to show why they are on top of the table.”
“The best legs should be named in the starting line up because of the importance of picking three points in the game.
