Nigerian Born Humphery Edobor Gabriel “Gabe” has been linked from Vanung University to Taiwan’s Super Basketball League Side Jeoutai on a three-year contract with the club.
Gabe who led his Vanung University to a forth place Finish in the 2022 UBA met with Jeoutai Club owner and Technical Crew on Monday along with his Agent Ryan Shih to conclude Personal Terms with his New Club.
According to the report, the deal is expected to be for three years for an undisclosed amount and will run from July 2022 after Gabe must have completed his Bachelor Degree at Vanung University.
“It’s a good deal for Gabe, he is happy and the club is happy as we reached an agreement today for him to join Jeoutai” the Agent Ryan Shih said.
Jeoutai has gone ahead to get their man well ahead of the Draft which is scheduled to hold in May. It is a smart move as this will shrugg off potential interest in the Nigerian forward who is part of the pick for the next drafts.
” What this means is that Gabe can relax and rest after a long season and prepare to join his new team right after University, Jeoutai made the move among other interests but we chose this Club because they have good plans for his career in the future” Ryan stated.
