Gabe Bags Arts Degree From Taiwan University

Taiwan Beer Talisman, Humphery Edobor Gabriel popularly known as “GABE” graduates from Taiwan’s Vanung University on Saturday June 10.

Gabe bags a Bachelor Degree in arts with honors in Tourism and Hospitality.

The Nigerian born basketball Player was admitted to Vanung University in 2019 where he led the team to the winning the Division 2 UBA Championship in 2021 and got promotion to Division 1 and finished 4th in 2022. Gabe was drafted in to Taiwan’s SBL after the 2022 UBA Season thus combining his final year at Vanung with playing professional basketball with Taiwan Beer.

He inspired Taiwan beer into the SBL playoffs and finished the season in 3rd place with individual honors as Number one steal leader and Rookie of the year.

With a degree in the bag now, Gabe is looking forward to pursue his basketball career and helping Taiwan Beer to the championship in the coming season.

“I am grateful to God for this feat, it hasn’t been really easy this past 4 years combining playing with studies but i am happy its done now.” He said moments after receiving his degree award

“I will now return to the club and focus more on my basketball career, however I am still looking to furthering my education by getting a master degree” he said.
