Following their abysmal performance in wake of the defeat to Broad City FC by a lone goal, the management of G12 Football Club has pleaded for fans’ support as they promise a quick turnaround with their central midfielder lauding the tourney organizers.
Mustapha spoke exclusively to sports247.ng stated that the King’s Cup which is also a scouting program is a great program as it will help many players to be seen, their qualities, and the talents they possess.
In the statement issued by the team to fans after the narrow defeat, it read, “the management and players of G12 FC humbly wish to crave your pardon for today’s performance of the boys, we promise to make it up in our subsequent outings. Thanks for your undiluted supports as we are most grateful.”
On competing teams, “there are top teams in Lagos participating in this tourney, we will try to improve in our games and I promise that we will do more better than this and try to make the finals at the end of the tournament.”
