Isiaka Bamigbade, Head coach of Sporting FA has bemoaned his 2-2 draw against North York FC as he reveals that the bad state of the pitch alongside unfavorable weather condition played a big part in thier draw at the ongoing Fusion Football Championship.
He allayed that his team deserved the maximum points but they had to settle for a draw due to the bad state of pitch and the harsh weather which made his players wear out.

“I’m not trying to find excuses but they really gave a good fight because I have made a lot of research about them,” he said of his opponent.
“They are a matured side, so, we had to mark well and allow them play while we catch them on counter attack and that’s how we got the two goals, which is from the training as practiced.”
“If there’s a weakness in a team although no team is perfect, there must be some weak areas and it showed towards the end of the second half because the bench was weak.”
“Some players are injured, some fasting so we have to manage the guys properly but then it’s not an excuse.”
“I give kudos to them, a very good side but we should be thankful to God that we scaled through.”
On what the fans should expect in thier next game; “our next game will be different from this. We have to look at the level of opposition taking the game as it comes as there are different approach to every opponent.”
