The midfielder curled a beauty at the top right hand corner far beyond the reach of GSC FC goalkeeper to earn a narrow 0-1 victory at the Surulere Legacy pitch.
“We should have closed the game up right from the very first half because we missed a couple of chances but thankfully we were able to convert one which gave us the victory,” he stated in his post game reactions with Sports247.ng.
“So by next time, I hope we can make it easier for the team by converting our chances early enough.”
“The way we line up for the free-kick is a routine training pattern and it works differently for each taker of the set pieces, so the one I scored is from my spot. We practice it all the time and today we were able to put it in action”.
