A victory does a lot of things to players and managers, and this was no different as G12 defeated Emmydinho FC 4-0 in what was a one sided game in their 2nd game of the Fusion Football Championship.
Christian Ikechukwu Isiekwene told Sports247 how proud he was of the boys as expected and the strategy the team employed.
“We are the only team to have played only one game before this so I told the boys that this game is a must win for us at every cost and with good goals and the boys did just that so I’m proud of the boys,” Christian said.
Speaking on his target for the league, coach Christian said “my target is to win the league and nothing else. Second place is a failure to me so the target is to win the league.”
“I have the structure and boys to win the league,” he said. “Our next game is Box2Box and everyone knows it’s a Lagos Classico and we’re aware of that. We’ll take the games one after another and I won’t think of a far game so we’ll prepare for the next game and I’m certain we’ll win the league,” he concluded.
