Receiving the Haggai Most Valuable Player award after his only his third start for the club and the player was ecstatic while also setting sights on more game time.
“It was a huge loss for us in the last game though I was absent due to my health today we made a very good impact and our target is to defeat the league leader and find our way to the top of the league,” he said.
“My target is to be the highest goal scorer even though I’m far behind the leading scorer as I’ve not been able to play much games. This is my 3rd start but the target remains the same and also to be at the top of the league in the end,” Okechukwu added.
The striker who was due to join a Norwegian side back in 2019 but couldn’t complete the move back then due to injury has set his sights on getting back to Europe as soon as possible.
“The target is still to get to Europe and it won’t change,” Okechukwu told Sports247.
