More games in the Fusion Football Championship as the league table gradually takes shape with six games into the league season.
Starbase FC Ogudu, returned to winning ways as their slogan says after defeating GSC FC 2-1 in an entertaining encounter. Starbase took a first-half lead after Ibrahim Agoro scored the opener after 30 minutes and returned after the break to double his tally and the team’s tally.
A later resurgence by GSC FC was not enough even as Aminu Musa halved the deficit but that was all there was to be as Starbase ran away with all three points.
In the other game of the day, Ajuwa FA who recently unveiled their logo in Spain as part of a partnership deal with Spanish Segunda side Real Oviedo, rooted Emmydinho FC to the bottom of the table with a comfortable victory.
The first half ended a goal apiece as Chinedu Ndubisi’s opener for Ajuwa was quickly canceled out by Chidera Opeache for Emmydinho. But the second half was a totally different game as goals by Sodiq Musa and James Uche gave Ajuwa a comfortable 3-1 win over TCC Side Emmydinho.
