Following a resounding 4-0 victory against Emmydinho FC at the ongoing Fusion football Championship, the technical director of Dannaz FC, Akande Fatai has heaped praises on his players over their tactical discipline to overcome spiritless Emmydinho FC at their home ground.
Emmydinho FC currently occupies the last position in the league with seven games played, one win, one draw, and has conceded the highest number of goals.
“First and foremost, it is a collective effort from the team, because we are currently changing the way we want to approach the game. There are a lot of competitions which makes it difficult for a lot of them and it’s not easy for them to quickly adapt, so we are taking it game by game. Getting used to the way I want them to play which is very important to their development,” He spoke exclusively to sports247 after the victory.
“The way we are set out is for each and every department to take advantage of what is expected of them so they can be spotted by people who are interested in a particular position and also putting it in mind that the primary objective which we need to achieve is that we concede less and try to score as many goals as possible.”
“Today, we achieved about 70% to 80% of that which we seek to achieve especially for them not to feel complacent knowing fully well that we are playing with a team who are battling for safety.”
