Fusion Football Championship Begins With A Bang

Privatization of the NPFL has been the bone of contention for many years, but since that’s not happening, Fusion Football Championship another private league starting with a bang just like we saw The Creative Championship League.

The league which includes 20 grassroots teams from across Lagos state has seen matchday one already produce 13 goals in 3 games as teams battled for a good start to the league.

Speaking to Sports247 in an interview, the Chairman of Fusion Football Championship Alh. Salau Abiodun appreciated all teams, owners, sponsors, and those behind making the league begin while also letting teams know they have a hand in the success of the league.

“The Entire Fusion Football Championship Management wish to appreciate all club owners, Partners and A very big congratulations to All of us to the kickoff of the Fusion Football Championship after the long wait. The League Management also thank everyone who has been supportive in one way or the other to the Championship,” he said.

“The League management wishes to also remind everyone that the Fusion Football Championship project is everyone’s Project and it’s important we must all protect it to the fullest. We should see the project beyond our teams alone but a project we must protect so we can all get the desired gain and return we want because either you win or lose, it is a win-win situation for everyone if we do it correctly,” the chairman added.

Alhaji Salau also went further to warn teams, club owners, and fans on the dangers of violence of any form that can disrupt the progress of the league whilst also stating the benefits that can be earned in terms of players’ sales, sponsorship, and the likes. He also informed them on the broadcast of the games and sharing of live streams.

“The league management also uses this opportunity to warn any club owner, coach, player, or Fans of a team that will want to disrupt the progress of the league. The league management will not hesitate to take immediate necessary action on anyone found guilty,” he said.

“The League management also urge all club owners, coaches, Team managers, and players to always share the Live broadcast Link to all our platforms and contacts for a wider reach and view,” the chairman added.
