GSC FC goalkeeper, Benjamin Tenyema has lamented his team lackadaisical display in the wake of the Fusion Football Championship 3.0 opening game loss against Smart City as he bemoans how shameful to concede such amount of goals.
GSC were thrashed 4-1 by Smart City at the Legacy Pitch Stadium, Surulere earlier today.
“To be honest, I don’t feel good about the performance. It’s shameful conceding such amount of goals, I don’t feel good,” he lamented in his pressers after the game.
“We all trained for this game, we wanted to give our best and as a goalkeeper, you feel terrible when you concede a goal, how much more when you concede four in the league.”
“We will do our possible best to bounce back in the next game, we will correct our mistakes going forward. This is just the start but we want to go far. We have our eyes on wining the title, top four spot.”
