Friday Kujah Throws Weight Behind Super Eagles As He calls On NFF For More Improvement On Nigeria Football…Grassroots Development

Renowned Nigerian and FIFA licensed soccer agent, Friday Nwankwo – Kujah has thrown his weights behind the governing body of Nigeria Football (NFF) as he backed the Federation to take total charge of National team growth, grassroots development following the menace of COVID-19 on sports globally.

Kujah spoke exclusively to sports247.ng after Nigeria’s stalemate draw against Tunisia as he revealed the need for Patience on the part of the highly expectant fans concerning the current crop of players and the unsatiable results in recent times.

“All over the world, people are watching the National team which is a joy to the nation, it belongs to us here in Nigeria and one of the very first tools which unite the country, football is the number one, it makes us stand in the same love, and brotherhood. After God, it’s football.”

“Nigeria is the only country in the world that won U-17 World Cup back to back and five times unbeaten record, the records are clear and they speak for themselves, why don’t we wake up then”, he charged.

“Before we have Super Eagles but now it is Patience Eagles so let us keep being patient, waiting for the dominance that we all are yearning for.”

“We deserve the best so we want it, patient Eagles should wake up to the Eagles we know and want them to be. What I saw in the two-game, the first one, four out of ten and the second five out of ten, just like people playing sets, they even understand themselves better than these games we saw.”

“We couldn’t make a through the pass in all the encounter, hold onto the ball for 20 or 30 seconds, I really hope and pray that we get it right but how long, how soon should we keep on with this football, we really need to wake up.”

Kujah prayed that during these unseemingly difficult times, the ravaging virus will not affect every one of us and emphasized the need to look out for ourselves without sentiments and live in one accord without tribalism.

“NFF should wake up and plan the football, the Coach should be pushed to do more, there is room for improvement, I really look forward to when we will get it right and Nigeria will claim back its Giant of Africa Stride.”

“Now is the time to plan our football, our leagues should be up and kicking but nothing yet, Ghana is ready to resume its own football obviously, more deliberate contribution on our football, encourage the youth, football academies should give them hope. Look at the rise of Osimhen, he is a typical example of what the youths should be aiming for.”

“Let’s forget about criticism and enmity, now is the time to build our nation and our football,” he ended.
