Villarreal is requesting the inclusion of French midfielder Yacine Adli as part of the deal.
Chukwueze has been a standout performer for the Yellow Submarine this season, impressing with 13 goals and 11 assists, which has attracted the attention of top European clubs.
AC Milan, a Serie A giant, has been linked with the Nigerian forward for a potential summer transfer.
Chukwueze’s contract with Villarreal is set to expire next year, making a departure from the club likely.
Initial reports indicated that AC Milan had made an offer for the 24-year-old winger.
However, recent information from Milan Post reveals that Villarreal is insisting on the inclusion of Yacine Adli in the proposed deal for the transfer to proceed. Adli, a 22-year-old French-Algerian attacking midfielder, began his career at PSG before joining AC Milan in 2021.
Although he spent the previous season on loan at Ligue 2 club Bordeaux, Adli has yet to establish himself as a key member of the team. Transfermarket currently values him at €8 million.
Sources suggest that Chukwueze has already agreed to personal terms with AC Milan, implying that the two parties need to reach an agreement on the transfer fee with Villarreal.
